Revel Entertainment Project

In 2007, Revel Entertainment Group began building what they are calling “the most engaging resort playground on the Eastern Seaboard.” AmQuip was there throughout the project to supply cranes, from the initial groundbreaking phases, through the construction of the casino itself, and even during the landscaping finishing touches.  AmQuip constructed two 710 foot towers (1,680,690 square feet in each tower) together with six MD485 tower cranes working simultaneously. In addition, four Crawler Cranes ranging from 60 ton to 225 ton, four 50 ton Rough Terrain Cranes and several miscellaneous Truck Cranes were supplied for the pile work, concrete foundations and steel erection. And for the landscaping, several larger Hydraulic All Terrain Cranes were used in the placement of trees and a roof deck.  The $2.4 billion megaresort is scheduled to open in the summer of 2012.
